I loved the Top gear Africa Special (Season 19 Episodes 6 and 7) where Clarkson, Hammond and May drove all over central, western and southern Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania looking for the source of the Nile. The scenery was absolutely stunning and of course they were in complete awe. I’m so proud of how beautiful Uganda is and I’m happy that all that was shown to the world. The kids in Rwanda wouldn’t stop waving from the roadsides and a group of wiling young men helped push their stuck vehicles through the muddy roads; I just thought to myself, isn’t it nice to meet such a pleasant people who are very welcoming and hospitable. Those were the funniest top gear episodes I had watched since the one where Hammond was hypnotised. Loved it.

Tamba - Rukiri

I love this song. Listened to Tamba perform live at kwivuga tonight and she is amazing.

No words can express how proud I am of my country Uganda. We may have won only one medal at the olympics while USA has 100+ and China 87…. but I feel like we’ve won it all. I’m so proud of us! :-)
